MC’s Short Profile

Marc was born on August 20th, 2002, in Barcelona, Spain. He began his studies in Physics in 2020 at the University of Barcelona, where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in 2024 with a thesis on the dependence of the ground-state energy of a quantum dot on confinement. He then pursued a Master’s degree in Barcelona, during which he developed an interest in ultracold gases. His master’s thesis focused on a system of spin-polarized fermions in a one-dimensional harmonic trap interacting via p-wave scattering. After graduating in July 2025, he joined the theory group of Francesca Ferlaino in September 2025 to begin his PhD.
