July 2026 | Website: https:\/\/www.erbium.at\/UCQG26\/<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>The Introductory Course on Ultracold Quantum Gases took place in Innsbruck, Austria, from 12 to 15 July 2026. The summer school provided undergraduate, master&#8217;s, and early-stage PhD students with a comprehensive introduction to the field of cold atoms and ultracold quantum gases. Twelve lectures delivered by experts from Innsbruck, Vienna, and Trento covered key topics including laser cooling and trapping, Bose-Einstein condensation, ultracold Fermi gases and molecules, strongly correlated quantum gases, and optical lattices. Participants also had the opportunity to visit state-of-the-art laboratories at the University of Innsbruck and the Institute of Quantum Optics and Quantum Information (IQOQI). The event was organized by Francesca Ferlaino, Rudolf Grimm, and Hanns-Christoph N\u00e4gerl, with administrative support from Silvia Bonazza.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Trento-Innsbruck Quantum Information Tour<\/span>\u00a0<span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(TIQIT)<\/span>\u00a0| 22. \u2013 28. February 2026 | Website:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>https:\/\/ai-sf.it\/tiqit\/\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>The Trento-Innsbruck Quantum Information Tour (TIQIT) took place from 22 to 28 February 2026. Organized by IQOQI Innsbruck, the University of Innsbruck, AISF Trento, and Spettro di Povo, in collaboration with the Department of Physics in Trento and the Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK), the event brought together 40 Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s students in physics for a week of lectures, laboratory tours, and scientific exchange. The programme focused on ultracold gases, nanoscience, quantum optics, quantum simulation, and quantum information, and included plenary lectures, lab visits, poster sessions, and social events conducted in English.
