Join the Aurora Excellence Fellowship program for visiting Master and PhD students! <\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

The Aurora excellence fellowship program for visiting Master and PhD students is an internship<\/strong> to enhance scientific collaboration<\/strong> and exchange<\/strong> in the fast-developing field of quantum science and technology<\/strong> between three of the nine universities that build up the Aurora European Universities Alliance. \u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Therefore, we are looking for enthusiastic and talented students who want to join an international team<\/strong> of researchers and deeply delve into quantum physics<\/strong> and have the fantastic opportunity to gain invaluable skills in photonics, quantum information and computing, quantum simulation,<\/strong> and many more.<\/p>\r\n

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?<\/span><\/h4>\r\n

The successful candidate will be hosted and supervised in one of the theoretical or experimental research groups at the<\/span> Universit\u00e4t Innsbruck\u00a0<\/span><\/b> the <\/span>University of Naples, Federico II<\/span><\/b> or the Palack\u00fd University Olomouc<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

In case of acceptance, a stay of a 3-4 weeks timeframe in summer 2024<\/strong>\u00a0in one of the research groups will be granted, of which the travel expenses <\/strong>and accommodation<\/strong> will be fully covered following the host institutions internal rules (further information will be available upon acceptance).<\/p>\r\n

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?<\/span><\/h4>\r\n

Highly motivated and curious students with a passion for quantum science and technology who are currently enrolled in a Master or PhD program in physics or engineering<\/strong> at Universit\u00e4t Innsbruck,<\/strong> University of Naples Federico II<\/strong>, or Palack\u00fd University Olomouc <\/strong><\/span>are welcome to apply. Please be aware that having passed an exam or currently attending a course in quantum mechanics\u00a0 (or equivalent) is mandatory.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n
