We are looking for a talented and motivated Postdocs to join our Dipolar Quantum Gases Labs (www.erbium.at)<\/a>\u00a0at the University of Innsbruck and IQOQI, Austria.\u00a0 \u00a0It is now an exciting time to work with ultracold highly-magnetic quantum gases, thrived by the new control and interaction opportunities opened by ultracold erbium and dysprosium for quantum science.<\/p>\r\n

We are currently searching for \u00a0talented and motivated post-doctoral research associate for the following project:<\/p>\r\n

Postdoc@Erbium or Er-Dy LAB<\/strong>: We invite applications for a experimental postdoctoral position to join our research team exploring the fascinating realm of ultra-cold quantum gases. The research will focus on topics such as dipolar Bose-Einstein condensates and supersolid states, lattice-confined dipolar quantum gas, and collective atom-light interaction. Proven experimental experience in ultracold quantum gases is required.<\/p>\r\n

    Requirements: A PhD in AMO Physics (and ideal on ultracold atoms) is required. Our group is strongly committed to ameliorate the gender balance in Physics at all level of the scientific career, we therefore particularly encourage applications from women.<\/p>\r\n

    Continuous hiring: The application will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled. Junior and Senior postdoc status and duration will be discussed on individual basis. We offer a monthly salary of approximately \u20ac4,752.30 (Junior) and \u20ac5,211.80 (Senior) before taxes, based on the salary scheme of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF)<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n

    ABOUT US:<\/h3>\r\n

    The Dipolar Group is led by Prof. Francesca Ferlaino and it is jointly located at the University of Innsbruck (UIBK) and at the Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information (IQOQI, www.iqoqi.at<\/a>) of the Austrian Academy of Science.\u00a0We work with\u00a0the exotic and highly magnetic Erbium and Dysprosium atoms, either in the ground- or in highly excited Rydberg states. The group comprises four research teams, three experimental and one theoretical. Our three Labs works on Erbium and Dysprosium dipolar quantum gases, Er-Dy mixtures, and Er Rydberg Tweezers.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n
