Now his work has been awarded as one of the best 20 works in Austria within the FFG-Talente-Praktika.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations Thomas, and we hope to see you soon back at the University!<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The white light interferometer developed by Thomas will be used in the RARE lab at the IQOQI for testing vacuum windows and there flatness.<br \/>\nIndeed, windows (viewports) might be bent or even newly bend when exposed under vacuum.
