AH’s Short Profile
Arfor was born on the 21st of June in the UK but grew up in the Netherlands. After finishing his Bachelor Degree in Liberal Arts & Sciences at University College Utrecht he moved to Paris where he completed his master in theoretical physics at the Université Paris-Saclay and the Ecole Normale Superieure in July 2020. During an internship with Thomas Bourdel at the Institut d’Optique in Palaiseau his passion for the field of cold atoms was kindled. After working for half a year as an editor for a website that popularizes climate change and the science behind it he joined the Erbium team in June 2021.
