RD’s Short Profile
Riccardo was born in 1996 in San Giovanni Rotondo, and grew up in Cerignola, in the south of Italy. In 2015 he moved to Pisa, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in physics in 2020 and his master’s degree in matter physics in 2024. During the last year of his master’s, he became interested in cold atom physics, focusing on field ionization techniques to characterize cold atomic samples under the supervision of Prof. Oliver Morsch.
In March 2024 he moved to Innsbruck to join the T-REQS team as a PhD student.
