Walid Bou Ezz is a master’s student at the Polytechnic University of Turin. After completing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, he decided to pursue something more exciting, hence the switch to Quantum Engineering.
He is joining the T-REQS lab for a 5 months internship from October 2026 to March 2027 to work on his master’s thesis.

Eugen Dizer is a PhD student in the group of Richard Schmidt at the Institute for Theoretical Physics, Heidelberg. He is working on Fermi polarons and quantum many-body physics in dipolar Fermi gases.
He is joining the theory group for a 2 months research visit from October to December 2026.

Daniel Samoylov, Master student from Frankfurt am Main, joined our theory group for an internship in June 2026. In his research project, he investigated quantum simulation of lattice gauge theories.
